At the summer school workshop held in Villa Elena, Muralto, professors from various European institutions convened to discuss the topic of "Phosphors for LEDs" in the field of physics and chemistry. The subject closely mirrored the Nobel Prize-winning work in Chemistry for that year, which centered on "Quantum dots for LEDs." The serene ambiance of Villa Elena provided an ideal backdrop for the scholarly discussions and the exploration of advancements in these technologies.
